Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund is the 2018 recipient of the Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher Distinguished Civilian Humanitarian Award for exceptional patriotism and support of veterans and military family members.

In 2019, the Secretary of the Army awarded Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund the Department of the Army’s Distinguished Public Service Medal for exceptional service and support to the U.S. Army and Department of Defense.

In 2022, the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce named Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund its Veteran Service Organization of the Year for our distinguished service to veterans and military families in the Greater Washington business community.

In 2025, Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund was honored to receive the Freedom Award from longtime partner No Greater Sacrifice at its annual Freedom Reception. This award recognizes organizations that exemplify the core principles of freedom, sacrifice, community, patriotism, and esteem—values we proudly stand behind.
